We were approached to design and fit out a large new build property on the Isle of Wight. The exterior of the house had been inspired by old style farmhouses but the interior of the property was more contemporary, with clean lines, modern style kitchen and engineered wood floors. The colour palette was inspired by materials from the local area, the natural warm tones of the local timber and stone, accented by the green of the houses leafy surroundings.  We combined polished materials such as brass, marble and velvet with softer natural materials such as oak, linen and textured wallpapers to create a scheme that brought the interior and exterior of the house together. The finished result was a space that felt homely and inviting, yet sophisticated.
